The Beekeeper Vest

This lovely vest is knitted bottom up, in the round up to the armholes and then splits for the armholes to work the back and front separately.

The stitch pattern is worked using twisted stiches (really easy!). The vest is knitted using Daughter of a Shepherd 'Ram Jam' here are the pattern details...

Materials: MC: 531 (585, 643, 700, 761, 818, 883, 940, 994)m / 581 (640, 704, 766, 833, 895, 966, 1028, 1088) yds

Sample shown knitted using Daughter of a Shepherd ‘Ram Jam’ Sport (100% wool from mixed breeds;

169m/185yds) per 50g skein)

Shades MC: Light Grey 3 (3, 4, 4, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6) 50g skeins

Needles: One circular needle in size 3.25mm / UK 10 / US 3 circular needles (a suitable length for the number of stitches, I used 80cm for size 3)

One circular needle in size 2.75mm / UK 12 / US 2, in length / 16” (or preferred needles suitable for working small circumferences in the rnd)

Tension: 24.5 sts and 34 rows to measure 10cm / 4” over stocking stitch after blocking using 3.25mm needles.
