Christmas Sheep

This little sheep is knitted in DK yarn and is wearing a cute Christmas jumper with a fairisle design. The horns are worked using short row shaping so that they curve around the ears.

Materials: One skein of Coopknits ‘Socks Yeah! DK’ yarn in shade 122 (Quartz)  (available in 50g skeins 112m (122 yds)), 15g (50m/54yds) Sirdar Hawarth Tweed - shade ‘West Riding’, 10g (16.5m/18yds) Sirdar Haworth Tweed - shade ‘Cotton Grass cream’

Two black 8mm toy safety eyes, oddment of black 4-ply (fingering) yarn

Toy Filling

Needles: 3mm (UK11, US2 or 3) knitting needles

Size: Approximately 20cm (8in) long

Techniques: Cast on (which ever method you prefer), increasing and

decreasing, German short row shaping, three needle cast off.
